The Power of the Purse

Women innately possess Amazing Assets (and I'm NOT talking about your asses ladies) that prove to serve as a necessary component of any group; whether it be a family, company, or the community in general. We are needed in our communities and we need to be the ones to recognize that, even if it feels like no one else does at times.

Women in general are more people oriented and show greater concern for the individual, adept at mega Multi Task Management, as well as have a high attention for detail. Set out to recognize your strengths as a woman as well as those you possess as an individual. Become your own Personal Promoter ~ maximize your strengths while at the same time learn to minimize and strengthen your weaknesses.  You will soon develop yourself into an invaluable member of any group you are a part of.

  1. I learned a lesson about personal promoting years ago when I was at a seminar at the Women Trial Lawyer caucus. The speaker said that women are reluctant to self-promote or "brag" on their accomplishments because they have been taught that it is unseemly or unattractive. Men do not have that problem. In my profession men have no problem bragging on their latest verdict while women prefer to have someone else notice it. I learned that day that I should not demurely wait for someone else to recognize my accomplishments, in fact, that is silly.
