I feel that there should be more "pulling up" of women by other women rather than "putting down" - I don't know if anyone will read this blog but I wanted some place to speak my mind and encourage others to do so.
This is not however a place to bash - bash men or other women for that matter. Let's stick to empowerment through positivity and by example. Let's encourage each other to be the best we can be!

This makes me think about going back to the days when women had coffee/tea & talked about real issues of the world. I cannot remember when I've had such a great intellectual conversation. Think globally, act locally, right? I think you have something here, my dear.
ReplyDeleteHear hear! Abolish the old ideas that we have to do it all ourselves and that asking for help is some kind of personal weakness. I say it takes more strength to ask for help than it does to be stubborn and insist on going it alone. I stand with you Sista! (((HUGS))) YOU ROCK!
